ABOUT OUR THERAPIST

Denise is a graduate of Boston University. She spent the early years of her career working as an OT in and around the Boston area. She has spent the past several years raising her two children while honing her skills as a pediatric occupational therapist. She has worked extensively with children and families who experience challenges related to self regulation, sensory processing, mental health, executive functioning and motor skill difficulties.

DIRFloortime

Our Therapist has received certification as a DIR/Floortime practitioner through ICDL. DIRFloortime® is recognized as a leading evidence-based approach to helping individuals on the autism spectrum and others with neurodevelopmental differences flourish.

Self Regulation Assessment and Treatment

We strive to find the root causes of self regulation challenges and then develop a comprehensive plan to address skill weaknesses.

Executive Functioning Assessment and Treatment

We have develped an assessment process to find specific areas of weakness, allowing us to target skills that are interfering with function.

Parent and Caregiver Collaboration

We seek to understand parent concerns and perspectives. We dedicate ourselves to helping parents care over skills and treatment approaches into daily life.
